Level 2 Unit 3 Listening Activity

This activity has been designed for Level 2 Unit Three topic ‘Hobbies’. There is a worksheet for students to do along with my self-introduction on the ELP homepage.

The self-introduction movie for this worksheet reviews Unit Two vocabulary (about personalities) and introduces Unit Three vocabulary (hobbies).

A suggested way for students to use the materials is:

1. Watch the video once to understand the general meaning.
2. Do the exercises on the worksheet from what can be remembered from the video and from what can be guessed by looking at the context.
3. Check the answers by watching the video again. (Students can work at their own pace and stop/ replay the video at any time.)

Ideally this is an FLSC/Computer room activity. So perhaps after Golden Week?? Alternatively, students could do this activity as homework. Just print off the sheet and have the students access the ELP homepage in their own time.
